Olivia Dalton, entering her fourth year of competing with NCFCA, is thrilled to become a servant leader. She has competed in Lincoln-Douglas debate, duo, open, and extemperanous.
Outside of the club, she enjoys numerous hobbies, including sewing, jewelry making, art, reading, rock climbing, archery, pottery, crafts, and gardening. She loves hanging out with friends and spending time with her two dogs.
One of the most valuable lessons she’s learned through competing in NCFCA is learning to rely on friendships more than on fleeting success.
Her favorite verse is: “So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” - Philippians 2:1-3 ESV
