Harrison Weaver is a junior in high school and is entering his fifth year in NCFCA. He looks forward to helping both new and experienced speech and debate students grow in their skills. Over the years, Harrison has competed in both styles of debate, along with Apologetics, Biblical Presentation, Biblical Thematic, Digital Presentation, Extemporaneous, Impromptu, and Open Interpretation. With his favorites being: both Biblical’s and Open Interpretation. In past years he has qualified to regionals and has most recently advanced to Nationals.
Through his years of experience, Harrison has learned that success is not just about performing well or getting big medals, but about sharing a message that others need to hear. This year, he hopes to help students reach their own goals while competing in any remaining or new speech categories.
Outside of NCFCA, Harrison enjoys playing several instruments (sometimes simultaneously), swimming, biking, Scouts, Science Olympiad, playing games with friends and family, and learning random facts.
