​Prepare yourself for a night full of friends, dancing, & fun at our annual English Country Dance Ball!

• Open to Christian Families ages 12+. This dance is not a drop-off event. Parents are asked to either stay or arrange a chaperone responsible for their child/ward (chaperones may only chaperone a maximum of 10 guests).

• All guests, please bring a sweet or savory snack with no peanut products. This is part of your admission and one way we keep the price low. (If you are bringing a plate or tupperware, please put your name on it and don't forget to take it home)

• DRESS CODE - Only those adhering to the dress code will be admitted to the dance. Formal attire for all. Ladies: Gown must be below the knee and slits must be no higher than 2 inches above the knee. Modest neckline (you will be bending over!). No high-heels due to the gym floor. Gentlemen: Formal attire is required, meaning dress pants and a colared shirt with a tie and jacket. If you would like, sports coats, tuxedos, and bowties are encouraged.

• Doors open 6:30, dance begins at 7:00.

• PROTOCOL - Gentlemen have the greatest responsibility; they must see that all ladies have an opportunity to dance. Please be gentlemanly, courteous, bold, and generous,  enabling all ladies to enjoy the ball.

• Do not come if you are sick.

• No Experience necessary! Dance instruction will be provided before each dance.

• Dances may include: Barmkim, Carolina Promenade, Hole in the Wall, Mr. Beveridge's Maggot, Postie's Jig, The Comical Fellow, Dublin Bay, WaltzDuke of Kent's, WaltzEaster Thursday 1733
